The Cubs outlasted the Nationals in Game 5 of the NLDS Thursday night in what turned out to be one of the wildest games in recent memory. Our nation’s capital simply can’t win in the postseason and Dusty Baker’s days in D.C. may be numbered. The Cubs were “the team of destiny” in 2016, and that title may not change after this season.
