Lonzo Debuted Against The Worst Possible Opponent

Lonzo Ball made his hyped debut last night, and it was nothing short than a dud.  Ball didn't any stellar numbers, and the Lakers lost by 16 to their in-town rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers.  Ball finished the night with 3 points, 4 assists and 9 rebounds.  Some may look at the rebounds and say that's a positive, but ultimately Ball is expected to do more offensively for the team.  

Although this is just one game for the UCLA standout in his professional career, for the last year we've only ever heard how great he is.  Steve Gorman thinks we should give Ball a little break, not because it was his first game, but because who he was pitted against.  You can listen to his full explanation below.
