Tom Brady and the Patriots lost to the Dolphins on Monday Night Football 27-20 in a game they were never really competitive in. For a team that traditionally is exceptional in their preparation, the lackluster effort left Jason Smith and Mike Harmon scratching their heads. The Dolphins didn't dominate the Patriots at the line of scrimmage, and Brady was left relatively clean in the pocket. Tonight's effort from the Patriots was unique, but not all that discomforting considering the lack of stakes in the game.
With no reasonable answer in sight as to why the Patriots played so poorly to a division rival on national television, Jason offers a conspiracy theory that could explain everything.
