Jason says that the San Francisco 49ers made a mistake in making Jimmy Garoppolo the highest paid quarterback in the NFL. Jason explains that five wins are not a big enough sample size of Garoppolo's abilities and that more time is needed to find out how good he really his. Jason thinks that the 49ers would have been better off placing the franchise tag on Garoppolo and seeing how the next season played out before signing him long term.
