Dwane Casey Was The Raptors' Fall Guy

The Toronto Raptors won a franchise-record 59 games this season, which was good enough for the top spot in the NBA's Eastern Conference. Dwane Casey, after his seventh year as Toronto's head coach, was voted the National Basketball Coaches Association's Coach of the Year. None of that was enough to save Casey's job after getting swept out of the playoffs by LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second consecutive season.

Early Friday morning it was announced Casey would no longer be the coach of the Raptors after going 320-238 in his seven years with the team. Dan Beyer and Jonas Knox, sitting in for Doug Gottlieb, pulled back the curtain and discussed the real reason Casey was let go.
