Alex Rodriguez Talks 10-Year Contracts & the MLB Superstar

Listen to Alex Rodriguez join The Herd to talk the new era of 10-year, $300 million deals in Major League Baseball as the future Hall of Famer became the first player in league history to sign a ten-year contract after the 2000 season with Texas.

Colin Cowherd asked A-Rod about the supposed idea of this toxicity level that 10-year contracts burden franchises with, and wanted to get his perspective on how much money the game’s best players should REALLY be paid.

Alex also reminiscences about playing in the old Yankee Stadium, Kyler Murray choosing quarterback over baseball (opposite to Alex), and chatted about shooting the breeze with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper at The Oscars Sunday night.
