Giants GM Dave Gettleman Says Daniel Jones Might 'Sit For Three Years'

Listen to Doug Gottlieb explain why he’s shocked with the actions of New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman Thursday night at the 2019 NFL Draft but not for the painfully obvious reasons you’d expect.

Obviously, Duke’s Daniel Jones going no. 6 overall was the most shocking moment of the entire first round, but Doug is more concerned with comments Gettleman made after the draft that hinted that the Giants could consider sitting Jones for THREE YEARS behind the incumbent Eli Manning much like the Packers infamously did with Aaron Rodgers looking over Brett Favre's shoulder.

Check out the audio below as Doug says reaching for Jones was one thing but failing to capitalize on a quarterback’s rookie deal while holding onto to an overpriced veteran quarterback ahead of him is next level derangement.
