Wife of Warriors Owner Joe Lacob Receiving Death Threats From Beyonce Fans

Nicole Curran, wife of Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob, says she had to disable her Instagram account after coming home from Wednesday night’s Game 3 of the NBA Finals to hundreds of nasty comments from Beyonce fans, some of them even going so far as to make death threats.

Curran’s courtside seat next to music icons Beyonce and husband Jay-Z became a topic of conversation on Twitter that started as an innocent meme inciting humor, as a short video went viral that appeared to show Beyonce frustrated that an unidentified woman was leaning over her lap to converse with Jay-Z.

It turns out that mystery woman was Jacob's’ wife, who was allegedly asking Jay-Z if he wanted a lime with the vodka/soda he just had just ordered and had to lean over to hear him because of the loud crowd noise at Oracle Arena.

According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Curran was in tears after receiving countless death threats from Beyonce fans mistaking her for a random fan trying to talk to Jay-Z at his wife’s expense.

The incident took a back seat to the Kyle Lowry incident, as part-Warriors owner Mark Stevens was ejected from the game for aggressively nudging Lowry after the Toronto Raptors guard had fallen into the stands to save a ball from going out of bounds.

Game 4 will be Friday at 9:00 ET/6:00 PT on ABC with the Warriors trailing the Raptors in the series 2-1.
