The NHL Banning Tim Peel Is A Sign Of The Times

Dan reacts to the NHL’s decision to ban referee Tim Peel from working anymore games after Peel was caught on a hot mic telling another referee he wanted to give the Nashville Predators a penalty against the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday night. Dan says that we need to hear both sides of the story and that he wants more information about why Peel made the decision to call the penalty and what was said before the call was made. Dan goes on to explain that referees likely make these decisions all of the time but because it was caught on a hot mic it cost Peel his job and there is a lower tolerance for bad behavior because of all the money tied to sports.
