Monday on 2 Pros and Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox and Brady Quinn make the case for Lamar Jackson being the frontrunner for MVP following his comeback win over the Vikings while also being the leading rusher for the team, but LaVar Arrington is quick to point out some other candidates who he thinks are more valuable to their teams.
Jonas Knox: "I don't know what the hell the Ravens are if Lamar Jackson is not their quarterback. It's frightening."
LaVar Arrington: "Ask yourself the same question, 'Do you think Tampa Bay is the same team without Tom Brady, if Tom Brady goes out?'"
Brady Quinn: "I'm sorry. You can throw whatever QB name you want up and it's not going to compare to a guy who leads his team in rushing and also throws for over 4,000 yards as a quarterback. You just can't replace that. I don't know what this team is without him. His physical gifts are a rarity. When this dude is behind center, it completely changes how you're going to play him."
LaVar Arrington: "Lamar Jackson hasn't proven that being that being that most valuable to his team can get them beyond the 2nd round of a playoff."
