The Kansas City Chiefs were the favorites playing at home in the AFC Championship, but Joe Burrow and the Bengals rose up from 18-points down and slayed the mighty Mahomes. The truth is that the Chiefs choked, but that doesn’t take away from the feel-good story of the season. The Bengals far outperformed their expectations this season and this trip to the Super Bowl has been well-earned.
Doug Gottlieb: “The most maligned franchise, I think, in the sport...and hell, we got the Bengals in the Super Bowl. The Bengals, are you kidding me? I thought the Bengals were good, I thought they were good all year, but the Bengals are in the Super Bowl? Wow!”
