Friday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox rips into 49ers Running Back Christian McCaffrey for saying he has a 'chip on his shoulder' thanks to the trade from the Carolina Panthers. Jonas is all for players creating self motivation for themselves, but McCaffrey isn't fooling anyone. The trade made sense for everyone involved and the person who should be most happy about it is McCaffrey.
Jonas Knox: "Chip on you shoulder, what do you mean? You got paid, you hardly showed up for work, you left a bad situation, and now you're out a Super Bowl contender, back in a place where you played your college ball. Oh, by the way, look what you go home to every night. I mean, come on dude. That's like the guy who wins the lottery and is like, 'Well, what are my options here?' Well, you could take the entire payout, or you can get 20 year installments. 'That's it?' Yeah, that's it. Sorry, dude. I hope you're not pissed off the rest of your life about it. Come on man, 'Chip on my shoulder?'"
