The Ravens decided to use the non-exclusive franchise tag on Lamar Jackson on Tuesday and Ben Maller thinks this was actually a savvy move by Baltimore.
Ben Maller: "The Ravens are gambling that the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow will not be there. Now do they have some sort of intel that we don't have? Who knows! But they're betting that Lamar Jackson is not going to get what he thinks he's going to get and therefore, he will either take the franchise tag, or Lamar will work out some sort of contract and say 'I will stay in Baltimore."
