No, because you knew Josh McDaniels would be fired by the end of the year. The Raiders have absolutely no identity, and it wasn’t going to get any better. I thought there would be more moves like this from Vegas today, like trading Davante Adams... But to do this now? I think this is a little bit gutsy by the Raiders, because they could’ve gone down the path of accepting it was a lost season. However, this shows they still kind of believe in the team this year, and you could see a change at QB next. Any change is a good one for them... The lack of activity from them today at the deadline, makes more sense now.”

That game last night against the Lions on national TV, where they gave up 500 yards of offense, their star receiver threw a tantrum because he can’t connect with his QB, Josh Jacobs post game comments, all spelled bad news for the head coach and GM going forwards.
