Seattle Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll has been relieved of his coaching duties and will reportedly remain with the team in an advisory capacity. Dan Beyer tells Doug it is past time they made this change and probably should have pulled the trigger a couple of years ago. Either way, this move will allow the Seahawks to finally move on from the Pete Carroll era and forge a new identity.
Dan Beyer: “I thought it should’ve happened a couple of years ago. I felt that this organization needed to make a change.”
Doug Gottlieb: “We’re talking ends of era, right?”
