Belichick Being Available Puts Other Coaches on the Hot Seat

Chris and Rob break down Bill Belichick's departure from the New England Patriots, and discuss what comes next for the 71-year-old coach. With most of the sports world trying to pin down which of the head coaching vacancies Belichick could wind up filling, Chris has a bit of a different take: what if the job he ultimately takes is one that isn't yet open?

Chris Broussard: "I don't think [any of the current openings] make sense for Belichick, except maybe the Chargers... Belichick's gonna coach three, maybe four more years. He doesn't have the time to build a new team... I think the real jobs for Belichick are not yet open... Teams that have quarterbacks, are in win-now mode, and are on a timeline just like Belichick. Those teams are Philadelphia, Dallas and Buffalo... If they do well [in the playoffs] they won't be open. But if they falter -- like if Buffalo loses to Pittsburgh -- they're jobs that could open up."
