Mike Harmon: “The big question I have coming out of the rumors of him demanding a clause that says he can’t be fired for cause...what the hell else did you guys do that might surface that you’re trying to put that clause in? What else could be lurking around?”
Jason Smith: “He obviously wants to go to the NFL. If I’m Michigan, at this point, I just tell this guy to go. You’re not gonna hold our program hostage every year, demanding more things every year, just go to the NFL and we’re done. I know you won a national title, but you’re obviously never gonna be happy here and you’re looking for a little bit more.”
