The Los Angeles Lakers came back from 21-points down to beat the Los Angeles Clippers on the strength of 19 points in the 4th quarter from King James. Doug is in awe of James’ ability to perform at this high level so late in his career, but he warns that LeBron now has to pick his spots and can’t bring it like this every night. The Lakers just can’t rely on him to carry them through the entire playoffs despite these flashes of brilliance.
Doug Gottlieb: “When you really dig in deep, (LeBron James) doesn’t guard like he used to, he’s not consistent in terms of his movement, he picks his spots, and when he has, he’s amazing. But the amount of time that he has it; those are going to decrease over time.”
