The Los Angeles Clippers blew a 21-point 4th quarter lead to the Los Angeles Lakers last night and Dan Patrick isn’t the least bit surprised. While he credits LeBron James and the Lakers for an amazing comeback win, his doubts about the Clippers franchise have only grown. Like Charlie Brown trying to kick that football Lucy’s holding, Clipper fans should expect to be disappointed over and over again.
Dan Patrick: “With the Clippers, it just feels like, you know, buyer beware, buyer beware. And it feels like Lucy is holding the football and Charlie Brown, he trusts her again. ‘You promise you’re not going to pull that?’ ‘I won’t, Charlie!’ And then Charlie ends up on his backside.”
