Iowa Women’s Basketball star, Caitlin Clark passed “Pistol” Pete Maravich’s all-time NCAA Basketball career scoring record over the weekend and Dan Patrick appreciates the focus that was placed on the legends that paved the way for the accomplishment. She is bringing the right kind of attention to women’s basketball and certainly deserves to be lauded while Dan takes a trip down memory lane to explain just how remarkable Maravich truly was.
Dan Patrick: “I love that Lynette Woodard was honored there as well, I thought that was wonderful. I’m glad that people have recognized and realized, you know, some of the other players before Caitlin Clark, and I think that’s what’s been great about this. There are probably people who are 40-years or younger had no idea about Pete Maravich. Like, he was, you know, mythological!”
