ESPN Magazine: New NBA players' union chief Michele Roberts says she will push for closer to a 50-50 split of basketball-related income between owners and players in the next Collective Bargaining Agreement. She also said she doesn't believe in a salary cap.
In part of his statement responding to Michele Roberts' comments, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said, “The Salary Cap system, which splits revenues between team owners and players…has served as a foundation for the growth of the league and has enabled NBA players to become the highest paid professional athletes in the world.”
