-Colts quarterback Andrew Luck missed practice today and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Matt Hasselbeck will start at quarterback if Luck sits out, and the freshly signed Josh Johnson would serve as his back-up.

-Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is still dealing with his hamstring injury and will miss Sunday's game against the Raiders.

-Senator John McCain told FSR's "The Dan Patrick Show" that the NFL charges the Department of Defense for honoring military heroes on-field on game day.

-Adrian Wojnarowski: The Milwaukee Bucks and forward John Henson have agreed to a four-year, $44 million extension.

-Jordan Spieth has been named PGA Tour Player of the Year.

-The Ravens beat the Steelers 23-20 in overtime on a Justin Tucker 52 yard field goal. Pittsburgh quarterback Mike Vick completed 19 of 26 for 124 yards, 1 TD and 0 int.

-Cincinnati beat Miami 34-23. Bearcats freshman quarterback Hayden Moore had 2 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD in the win.

-The Yankees beat the Red Sox 4-1. New York clinches a wild card spot with the win.

-The Rangers knocked off the Angels 5-3. Texas clinches a playoff spot and reduces its magic number to 1 to win the A.L. West.

-The Twins downed the Indians 4-2. Minnesota and the L.A. Angels are both 1 game back of idle Houston in the race for the second A.L. wild card spot.

-The Blue Jays lost to the Orioles 6-4. The Royals beat the White Sox 6-4. Toronto and Kansas City are tied for the best record in the A.L. The Blue Jays hold the tie breaker.    

-The Dodgers downed the Giants 3-2. The Mets were shutout by the Phillies 3-0.
L.A. and New York are tied but the Mets hold the tiebreaker.
