Trending Now: Andrew Luck to Make Return Against Texans

-Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is likely to return to action Thursday in Houston from a shoulder injury. The team released quarterback Josh Johnson today.

-Ryan Mallett will remain the starting quarterback for the Texans when they face the Colts on Thursday night.
-Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett says the team believes running back Lance Dunbar will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his knee.
-Angels manager Mike Scioscia said today he will return in 2016.
-Adrian Wojnarowski: Hornets forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will have shoulder surgery and could miss the season. Kidd-Gilchrist is expected to need 6 months to recover.
-Sharks forward Raffi Torres was suspended 41 games by the NHL for his hit on the Ducks' Jakob Silfverberg during Saturday's preseason game. It's the longest suspension in terms of games given in NHL history.
-The Washington Nationals have fired manager Matt Williams after the team finished the year (83-79) and missed the playoffs.
-Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia has checked himself into an alcohol rehab center. He will not be on the postseason roster. 
-The Miami Dolphins (1-3) have fired head coach Joe Philbin. Tight ends coach Dan Campbell will take over as interim head coach.
-Tampa Bay Times: The Buccaneers released placekicker Kyle Brindza, who missed two field goals and an extra-point in Sunday's loss to the Panthers after missing three field goals the week before against Houston.
