Brett Favre makes his return to Green Bay today for a tribute luncheon for Hall of Famer Bart Starr, who is recovering from a stroke and won’t attend. Favre isn’t planning on attending tonight’s Monday Night Football game between the Packers and Falcons.

Peyton Manning’s streak of 51 straight games with a touchdown pass was snapped by the Buffalo Bills, but the Broncos rode CJ Anderson’s three rushing touchdowns to a 24-17 victory. The Broncos at 10-3 are the #2 seed in the AFC.
The Arizona Cardinals recovered a questionable fumble by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce to help secure a 17-14 victory. Cardinals are a perfect 7-0 at home and lead the NFC West with a 10-3 record.
Mark Sanchez was 10-20, 96 yards, 2 TD’s, but sacked three times and picked off once as the Seattle Seahawks smothered the Philadelphia Eagles 24-14.
Le’Veon Bell racked up 235 total yards and scored three touchdowns as the Steelers went into Cincinnati and doubled up the Bengals 42-21. Bell gained over 200 yards for the third consecutive week. The only other player to do that was Walter Payton.
Baltimore and Pittsburgh are a half game back of the Bengals in the AFC North after the Ravens blitzed the Dolphins 28-13 in Miami. Ryan Tannehill was sacked six times in the loss.
The College Football Playoff was announced as Alabama will play Ohio State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, while the Florida State Seminoles will play in the Rose Bowl presented by Northwestern Mutual against the Oregon Ducks. The Ducks are favored by 9 points over the Seminoles and Alabama is favored by 10 against Ohio State.
The #13th ranked San Diego State Aztecs shot a putrid 20% from the field as they got beat by the Washington Huskies 49-36.
Clemson beat #18 Arkansas in overtime 68-65.
Jordan Spieth won the Hero World Challenge by shooting a -26. Tiger Woods was tied for last as he was Even.
