Rain is in the forecast for tonight's Game 3 of the ALCS in Kansas City between the Royals and Orioles.  Kansas City leads the series 2-0.

Multiple reports: Eagles RB Darren Sproles will miss a few weeks action because of a sprained knee suffered last night in a win over the Giants.  Head Coach Chip Kelly says Sproles will be re-evaluated after their Week 7 bye.

NFL Network: Bengals WR AJ Green will miss Sunday's Week 7 game at Indianapolis because of his toe injury.

Bills WR Mike Williams has asked the team to trade him after he was deactivated from yesterday’s loss to the New England Patriots.

Chip Hale was named as the new manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Hale was most recently the bench coach of the Oakland A's.

The Cardinals walked off with a 5-4 win over the Giants on Kolton Wong's walk off solo home run. The series is tied at 1-1. Game 3 will be Tuesday in San Francisco.

St. Louis star catcher Yadier Molina left Game 2 of the N-L-C-S  with what is believed to be a serious oblique injury. He'll be re-evaluated later today.

Game 3 of the A-L-C-S between the Royals and Orioles in Kansas City will get underway at 8 ET. The Royals lead the series 2-0.

The Eagles shutout the Giants 27-0 Sunday night to improved to 5-1 on the season. New York wide receiver Victor Cruz left the game with a torn patella tendon in his knee.  

The Cowboys improved to 5-1 by beating the Seahawks in Seattle 30-23. Dallas running back DeMarco Murray ran for 115 yards and scored the go ahead touchdown.

The Chargers improved to 5-1 with a 31-28 win over the Raiders. Oakland dropped to 0-5 despite rookie quarterback Derek Carr throwing 4 touchdown passes.

The Bengals and Panthers played to a 37-37 tie. Cincinnati kicker Mike Nugent missed a 36 yard field goal as the overtime expired.

Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco threw 5 touchdown passes in a 48-17 win over the Buccaneers.

In the new A-P Top 25 Mississippi State is the new #1 team moving past Florida State who falls to #2. Ole Miss, Baylor and Notre Dame round out the Top 5.

NBA MVP Kevin Durant will be out of action 6 to 8 weeks due to a broken bone at the base of his little toe.

Oscar Pistorius, who was found guilty last month of killing his girlfriend, returns to court on today for his sentencing hearing.
