Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum will undergo an MRI today on his back and side after leaving last night's Game 2 of the World Series with tightness in his back.

John Hart signed a 3 year deal to become the new president of baseball operations for the Atlanta Braves. Lions WR Calvin Johnson was able to do more at practice today than yesterday.  He has missed the team’s last 2 games with a sprained ankle.  Lions RB Reggie Bush didn't practice today because of an ankle injury.

Texans rookie DE Jadeveon Clowney says he expects to play against the Titans on Sunday.  Clowney has been out since Week 1 after having arthroscopic surgery on his injured knee.

The Maple Leafs/Senators game that was postponed yesterday because of the Ottawa shootings will be played on Sunday, November 9th.
