-Lakers star Kobe Bryant was the leading vote getter for the NBA All-Star Game, the 4th time in his career he has received that honor. Kobe will start for the West All-Stars, along with Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Kawhi Leonard.
 
-The Eastern Conference starters for next month's All-Star Game in Toronto are LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, Dwyane Wade, and Kyle Lowry.
 
-Clippers head coach Doc Rivers says forward Blake Griffin won't play tonight against Cleveland or tomorrow against the Knicks. Griffin has been out almost a month with a quad injury, but could return to action on the team's road trip.
 
-The Big East basketball game between #16 Providence and #4 Villanova in Philadelphia was moved from Saturday to Sunday because of winter storm Jonas.
 
-Broncos cornerback Chris Harris will likely be a gametime decision for the AFC Championship Game Sunday against New England because of a shoulder injury.
 
-PSL owners in St. Louis have filed a lawsuit against the Rams organization, claiming they have the right to their seat licenses, even if the team is in Los Angeles. The plaintiffs claim their licenses never stipulated the games had to be played in St. Louis.
 
-Yankees reliever Aroldis Chapman will not face charges following an investigation into domestic disturbance involving his girlfriend that occurred in Florida in October.
 
-Ken Rosenthal: The Washington Nationals have offered free agent outfielder Yoenis Cespedes a 5-year contract.
 
-MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred says the non-waiver trade deadline for the 2016 season will take place on Monday, August 1st, and not July 31st.  Manfred says this will be in effect only for the 2016 season.
 
-Phil Mickelson is at 4-under par after the 1st round of the CareerBuilder Challenge on the PGA Tour. Mickelson is 4 shots back of the leaders, who are at -8.
