-The NBA suspended Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes two games without pay for engaging in a physical altercation with and threatening New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher in October.
-Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott was cited for three driving violations Sunday by Columbus Police. An Ohio State spokesperson says Elliott's status for the Fiesta Bowl will not be affected.

-The Vikings beat the Giants 49-17 Sunday night. Minnesota clinched a playoff spot with the win.
-The Chiefs downed the Browns 17-13. After starting the season 1-5 Kansas City clinched a playoff spot with its 9th win in a row.
-The Jets defeated the Patriots 26-20 in overtime. New England won the overtime coin toss but elected to kick off and never possessed the ball in the extra period.
-The Steelers were surprised by the Ravens 20-17. Pittsburgh's loss and New York's win means the Jets move into the final wildcard spot in the AFC knocking the Steelers out.
-The Falcons shocked the Panthers 20-13. Carolina's dream of an undefeated season comes to an end as they drop to 14-1.
-The Cardinals crushed the Packers 38-8. Arizona's defense recorded 8 sacks and scored 2 TDs. The Cardinals clinched a first round bye with the win.
-Former major league outfielder Dave Henderson, who played 14 seasons for 5 different teams, died Sunday after suffering a heart attack. He was 57.
-Meadowlark Lemon, the longtime showmanship with the Harlem Globetrotters, has died at the age of 83. A cause of death was not immediately announced.
