Suspended Vikings RB Adrian Peterson will have his appeal hearing on December 2nd.  Peterson is fighting his suspension for the rest of the season given to him by Commissioner Roger Goodell.

The NFL will give out free tickets to fans who want to attend the Jets-Bills game in Detroit on Monday night.  

Patriots RB Jonas Gray was sent home by head coach Bill Belichick because he was late for practice.  Gray claimed his alarm didn't go off because his phone died and he overslept.

The Kansas City Chiefs signed free agent WR Jason Avant, who was released by the Panthers this week.

Mississippi State junior safety Justin Cox has been suspended after he was arrested this morning on charges of domestic violence and suspicion of burglary charges.

Raul Ibanez, Don Wakamatsu, and Kevin Cash are the 3 finalists to be the next manager of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin is out indefinitely with a fractured wrist.  

In college basketball, 17th ranked UConn defeated Dayton, 75-64, in Puerto Rico. #23 Syracuse held off Iowa, 66-63.
