Rain is in the forecast for tonight's Game 1 of the ALCS in Baltimore.  The Orioles left pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez and suspended 1B Chris Davis off of their ALCS roster, and added lefty Brian Matusz. 

Despite talk that Georgia RB Todd Gurley will return this season from his suspension, sources tell the paper the case against Gurley is "significant," and may not be cleared this season.

Bengals WR AJ Green missed practice on Friday with a toe injury, and reportedly will miss Sunday’s game against Carolina.

Lions WR Calvin Johnson missed his 3rd straight practice with a high ankle sprain.

Jaguars RB Toby Gerhart won’t play at Tennessee on Sunday because of a foot injury.

Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson will miss a week of action with a strained calf muscle.

The Colts beat the Texans 33-28. Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 370 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Colts are 4-2, Houston drops to 3-3.

Central Florida knocked off B-Y-U in overtime 31-24. After starting the year 4-0, B-Y-U has lost 2 in a row.

In a rematch of last year’s playoff series the Wild shutout the Avalanche 5-0. Minnesota goalie Darcy Kuemper had 16 saves in the shutout.

The Penguins outscored the Ducks 6-4. Sidney Crosby scored 2 goals as Pittsburgh wins in new head coach Mike Johnston’s debut.

The Canadiens got by the Capitals 2-1 in a shootout. Montreal is now 2-0 after two days into the new N-H-L season.

The Devils downed the Flyers 6-4. Philadelphia is now 0-2 after two days into the new N-H-L season.
