Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch was fined $100,000 for refusing to speak to the media following Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs.  The NFL fined Lynch $50,000 for not talking last year, but would have rescinded the fine if he cooperated this year, which he didn't, and that cost him another $50,000.

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders missed practice today with a concussion, and TE Julius Thomas also sat out with a sprained ankle.

The Kent State-University of Buffalo football game scheduled for tonight has been postponed.  The schools will try to play the game tomorrow.

Hornets forward Jeff Taylor was suspended 24 games by the NBA after he pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges.  Taylor has missed the 1st 11 games of the season, and will miss the next 13 as part of the punishment.

The Vikings claimed RB Ben Tate off of waivers from the Cleveland Browns.

ESPN: Dodgers pitcher Dan Haren says he will retire if the team trades him to a team that isn’t located in Southern California.
