With Steelers tail back Le’veon Bell’s status for this weekend in limbo, Pittsburgh has signed free agent running back Ben Tate.

The time is now in Michigan. The Wolverines interim athletics director Jim Hackett has announced Jim Harbaugh is the new head coach. Since 2007, the Wolverines have gone a pedestrian 55-46, and finished 5-7 this past season. New York Times writer John Bacon is reporting that Harbaugh has a 7-year deal in place worth $5 million per year, plus incentives.
Nebraska Cornhuskers defensive end Randy Gregory said that he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2015 NFL draft. In two years at Nebraska, Gregory had 17.5 sacks.

Iowa upsets #20 Ohio State 71-65.


Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will get back onto the court tonight after missing a couple of games with a bruised knee. The Cavs are 18-12 this season.
