-The Warriors (33-2) say Steph Curry will play tonight, despite his bruised shin.
-This year's College Football Hall of Fame class includes quarterbacks Randall Cunningham (UNLV) and Bert Jones (LSU), defensive back Rod Woodson (Purdue), and linebackers Derrick Brooks (Florida State) and Tom Cousineau (Ohio State).
-Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney is questionable for Saturday with a foot injury.  The NFL playoffs open with Kansas City at Houston.
-The forecast for Sunday's Seattle at Minnesota game is for sunny skies and zero degrees.
-The Denver Post asked quarterback Peyton Manning if this feels like "his last rodeo," and he responded, "I'd be lying if I said I'm not thinking about that." He has one more year left on his Broncos contract.
-Ex-UCLA Offensive Coordinator Noel Mazzone has agreed to a 3-year deal with Texas A&M.
-Former Marlins general manager Dan Jennings will join the Nationals' front office.
-Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal each advanced to the Qatar Open final.  They are 23-23 all-time against each other.
-Jordan Spieth trails Kevin Kisner by 1 stroke during the second round of golf's Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
