The California Travel Law that will impact sports isn't getting the coverage it deserves.
By law, there are a lot of significant college sporting events involving teams in the state of California that simply will not be allowed to take place starting next year. If California disagrees with any piece of legislature regarding LGBTQ laws in any state, they can ban state-funded travel to those places. If UCLA wanted to play in the National Championship Game in a state that fell under these guidelines, they couldn't.
