The Jason Smith Show: Mike Pereira

The NFL has been full of controversy this year, whether it's players kneeling, teams violating concussion protocol, or Panthers Owner Jerry Richardson being accused of sexual misconduct in the workplace; there has been no shortage of story lines.  What seems to be a headline week in and week out is the use of  replay and the inconsistent officiating throughout the league.  Many believe the NFL desperately needs to change their policy before it really damages the game.

Mark  Willard and Rob Parker filled in on The Jason Smith Show, and they were  joined by the former VP of Officiating for the NFL, Mike Pereira.  He didn't hold back on the issues with the current replay system. Pereira, currently the Rules Analyst for FOX thinks the new replay officials in New York weren't prepared to take on the replay responsibilities.  You can listen to the full interview below.
