Now that Kyrie Irving is out for the season, Ben Maller thinks that the Cleveland Cavaliers have a clear, uninhibited path to the NBA Finals. The Raptors have the 1st seed, but are not a real threat as we can always count on them not living up to their regular season performances. The 76ers are too young.
Maller points out that the only thing that can derail the Cavs is LeBron James himself. Whether that happens in the form of an injury or just the inevitable decline due to age; LeBron is the only thing that stands in the way of yet another Finals appearance.
