While both the Cavaliers and the Warriors are one loss away from their seasons being over, we are also incredibly close to a 4th straight Finals matchup between the two teams. Jason Smith and Mike Harmon see this streak of dominance as a phenomenon that has lost its luster among casual and die hard NBA fans alike. The guys wonder if the NBA can really afford to have the same old thing happen again, and see that a way to reinvigorate fan interest in a repeated series in the future would be to drop every series down to a 5 game series instead of 7.
