Urban Meyer Doesn't Feel Like He Did Anything Wrong

Urban Meyer Doesn't Feel Like He Did Anything Wrong

Mike Harmon and Dan Beyer, filling in for Jason Smith, break down the 3-game suspension handed down to head coach Urban Meyer by Ohio State and think the penalty was fair. However, the big takeaway for the guys was from the university's press conference in which Meyer did not seem too remorseful for his actions and ultimately didn't feel as if he had done anything wrong.

With the 3-game suspension, Meyer is effectively out for Week 1 against Oregon State, Week 2 against Rutgers, as well as Week 3 against TCU. Dan brings up the point that a loss to TCU in week 3 may actually help Ohio State in the long run. If the team is able to take care of business in BIG 10 play the rest of the season they may be staring at a potential College Football Playoff berth. If it comes down to OSU vs. another team for that final spot, Dan thinks the committee may use a loss to TCU as a point for the Buckeyes in that it was a tough loss to a good team and they were missing their head coach.
