Oklahoma City forward Paul George finally opened up about his decision to choose the Thunder over the Lakers during free agency during an appearance on the Short Story Long podcast. "I didn't give Magic (Johnson) a meeting, which I understand. But at that point, I knew I wanted to give it another shot. I didn't want to prolong it and waste people's time."
Colin Cowherd says that Paul George didn't just choose Russell Westbrook over LeBron James, but chose familiarity over difficulty. Playing with LeBron isn't easy but it comes with great rewards, and when you throw in PG13's history, it actually makes a lot of sense.
