Marshawn Lynch Planning to Retire For the Second Time

Marshawn Lynch's return to the NFL might be over after just two seasons. According to a report by Adam Schefter, Lynch is planning to hang up his cleats, possibly for good this time.

Lynch announced his first retirement on the same day as Super Bowl 50 in 2016. He sat out the following season but decided he wanted to come back and play football again. The Seattle Seahawks, who still had control of the running back, traded Lynch to the Oakland Raiders, where he has spent the last two seasons.

Oakland appears to be ready to move on from the 33-year-old running back. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport is Josh Jacobs in the first round of the NFL Draft which begins on Thursday (April 25th). Jacobs is considered one of the best running backs in the draft. Oakland has both the 24th and 27th picks in the first round.
