Kawhi Leonard Thanks City of Toronto Before Starting Clippers Introduction

Milwaukee Bucks v Toronto Raptors - Game Six
Kawhi Leonard: “Before I get started on the Clippers I wanted to thank the Toronto Raptors fans. I don’t have social media so I’m not able to put out a paragraph or whatever. Thank you to Toronto, the city, and the country, it was a great and amazing season and the best parade ever. Thank you to the doctors for delivering my baby boy, who’s three months now and still healthy. I also want to thank the city in terms of the restaurants, giving up that ‘Ka'whine and Dine’ throughout the playoffs. I definitely took advantage of that… I thank the whole organization and city.”

Superstar Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard led off his introductory press conference with his new team giving praise to his former one, as the two-time NBA Finals MVP thanked the city of Toronto for giving him such an amazing championship season.

‘Best Parade Ever’, Kawhi said of the victory celebration, as the city celebrated its first NBA title and first major title since the Blue Jays won the World Series in 1992.

Leonard also thanked and acknowledged the city’s creative recruiting pitch named ‘Ka'whine and Dine’ as restaurants offered free meals to Leonard and his family during the NBA Playoffs.

Leonard says he has still kept in touch with his Raptors teammates and coaches, and memorably added ‘I don’t have social media so I’m not going to put out a paragraph or whatever.’”
