MLB Should Adopt the Universal Designated Hitter Permanently

With reports that MLB is expected to approve a universal designated hitter for a modified 2020 season, Jason Smith and Mike Harmon make no bigger, bolder prediction than if it is adopted for 2020, the universal DH will end up being a permanent change. It creates a whole new position for more than half the league. The only people who won't love it are guys like deGrom, Scherzer and Kershaw who will miss hitting but no one will feel bad for them.
