Kyrie Irving is Both the Right and Wrong Guy to Be Asking Questions

Jason Smith and Mike Harmon completely get it if NBA players don't want to return because there's many good reasons including safety. But the guys think Kyrie has always been a wildcard and right now, he's both the absolute right guy and the absolute wrong guy to be leading questions about the NBA restart.

Important messages that are coming up with NBA players who have questions about restarting are going to get lost in Kyrie's drama which seems like he's trying to re-do the NBA CBA on the fly. If there's no season, the owners can rip up the CBA and that's not going to give the players a better deal as a result.

Jason and Mike don't see where the NBA not playing, which they're not until the end of July, is going to help fighting for what's right when it comes to social injustice. If they play the games, their platform is larger. They'll reach more people who will be watching and listening. Ultimately, it was right for Kyrie to bring players together but now it's time for other players to take it from here.
