LSU star basketball player Angel Reese has rejected the traditional White House invitation after she and her teammates won the National Championship. Her reasoning seems to be that President Joe Biden failed to pick the Tigers to advance far enough in the tournament for her liking, and that she’d rather meet with the Obama family. As you can imagine, Doug finds this line of reasoning to be “the dumbest thing” he’s ever heard. Turning down a White House invitation based on the President’s failed bracket is patently ridiculous.
Doug Gottlieb: “Holding it against the President of the United States because he didn’t pick your team to win a game at some point in the NCAA Tournament as to your logical reason behind not wanting to attend the White House might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”
