Mike Harmon: “Outside of conference realignment, Coach Prime is the biggest story in college football. We already know how great Caleb Williams is, and Sam Hartman has been making a name for himself the past year. But when it comes to Deion Sanders, taking over a program and trying to bring them back to prominence, I’m very curious to see how this is going to go... The curiosity for me in this whole thing, is the recruitment of a player. Because if you’re coach Prime, how much are you recruiting the parents as much as the players?”
Kerry Rhodes: “I think the one thing about Coach Sanders, is no matter where he goes, and no matter what the situation is, we’ll always be interested. I think it’s a beautiful thing that he coaches the way he wants to, because his style is so unique... However, I think it’s going to take a little bit of time, because the team has a ton of work and growing to do... As far as recruiting players vs parents, I think it’s 80/20. It’s really been that way since I was around.”
