Former NFL QB Robert Griffin III joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show and he talks about his desire to bet back on the field. His post-NFL career is going well so far but he insists he’d still like to play and has been contacted by at least one NFL team recently. He would be willing to put his podcast and media career on hold if the right opportunity presented itself.
Dan Patrick: “Last time a team contacted you about playing?”
Robert Griffin III: “This offseason, so probably August...”
Dan: “Who was it?”
Robert: “Oh, I can’t tell you who that was out of respect for the teams, but the bottom line is, for me, I want to play still. I’m enjoying what I’m doing in the media being one of your colleagues, but if the right opportunity came along, I would certainly entertain it...”
