Has James Harden’s Stubbornness Damaged His Hall of Fame Case?

Rob Parker: “I just think this trade is a mockery of the game. Four teams in 22 months is uncharted territory for a star player... He begs to go one place, wants out, goes there, wants out, leaves, and the cycle never ends. I would be a spiteful owner for the 76ers... Free agency is a right. You play your contract, and then you have a choice of where you want to go. Harden’s situation is an abuse of player empowerment, and his Hall of Fame case has been damaged.”
Chris Broussard: “Harden’s too good; he’s definitely a Hall of Famer. I don’t think it’s right if there are writers who hold him out of the Hall for the way he’s conducted himself with teams. However, his reputation is damaged because he’s not winning with these teams.”
