Tonight’s last ever Pac-12 Championship Game between the Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies kicks of a weekend of championship games across the country, and Doug Gottlieb is rooting for the final year before we expand the College Football Playoffs to be a giant mess to prove just how awful the current system is and always has been. He’s hoping we end up with multiple one-loss teams so there are no obvious choices and chaos ensues.
Doug Gottlieb: “This system has never made sense, never been equitable and, in the last year, we have a chance for complete chaos! And though I don’t usually root for it, I’m especially rooting for it...I want all those one-loss teams (to win) so nothing makes sense at all!”
