Indiana Pacers PG Tyrese Haliburton joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. They talk about his early career and what it was like to face his idols on the court during his first NBA season. He weighs in on the Los Angeles Lakers raising the first In-Season Tournament banner last night. And he has all the first-hand details of what happened with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and his missing game ball.

Dan Patrick: “Every rookie who scores gets a basketball?”

Tyrese Haliburton: “Yeah. In the Pacers organization, if a rookie scores his first point then he gets the ball. But, just to clarify, we did have the game basketball, just so everybody’s aware. I know that that’s been talked about a million times in the world but we did not have the ball.”

Dan: “What was (Giannis Antetokounmpo) going to do, Tyrese? If he came into the locker room, what was going to happen?”

Tyrese: “You know, that’s a question for him. I really don’t know what the plan was. I don’t know if there was much of a plan. I think it was just built up, a lot of testosterone going on, a lot of frustration going on.”
