Questions continue to circulate around the benching and likely eventual release of QB Russell Wilson by the Denver Broncos, so Dan Beyer & Monse Bolaños, in for Doug Gottlieb, look for answers. Right when it appeared the Broncos were finally improving and had an opportunity to squeak into the playoffs, they sat Wilson down, much to the dismay of their fans. And now Wilson is being portrayed as a victim yet he’d been criticized for poor play all season long. Was it really a financial move or is HC Sean Payton simply cutting bait?
